I would rather that I made myself understood, even if other people don't agree.

Its very hard to make people understand because we all know we have a ego somewhere along the time which plays with ur mind. People need to get slapped several times until they understand because its just a waste of time trying to explain urself and what do u get at teh end of the day? time wasted and the guy  probably dont want to change in the first place? even if what u say is correct\ incorrect.

can't wait to get home and play wow with a certain someone!!!

I also don't see "making everyone else agree with you" as the end goal every time. If that's all you're aiming for then yeah, may as well not say anything.

Sometimes you even learn some things about yourself in these discussions. If you aren't too arrogant of course.
