I thought it was cool DVS won cause he seemed like the underdog.. especially 5-0. But like everyone could tell, Smoof had given mentally
around the 2nd or 3rd match. And kept focusing and getting smashed with a jump in.. Which got boring after the first few times. Watching
Mason facepalm every round was entertaining for a bit though. Hehehe.

Thanks to everyone who has congratulated me. I know it wasn't the most interesting of matches to watch...but when $200 is on the line you gotta play to win.

In a way it was a hollow victory as I was expecting Smoof to adapt to my attack and shift tactics to counter my playstyle.  I trained to face a few different match ups and Ultras...and was as surprized as anyone when he stuck with the same tactic.

Credit to those who I trained with beforehand, offering me tips and guidance leading up to the match - you know who you are
