So about $340-00 via Air NZ with 1 bag.  I reckon if we are gonna go from Friday to Monday, we will want to take a bag so we can have enough fresh clother, plus joysticks and shit.

Just looking at the accomodation end of it.

For those that don't care, you can stay in a hostel for roughly $30 per night.  If there are a few of us, we can book a room to us so we dont have to share with weirdo's.  So for Friday, Saturday, and then Sunday night we are looking at roughly $100.

So not including food it'll be roughly $440.00.  Not too bad I reckon.

Just need to figure out how much the entry is and our peeps can sort it out!

Still not sure what we will be charging this year. Last year was $40 entry, plus $10 for each game you entered (Which goes to the pot).
We hope to have an early bird fee soon and if possible drop the price. Venues are expensive as hell here in the Melbourne CBD, so as you can imagine, we would need close to 200 players just to cover the venue costs.

Really hoping next year we can get some corporate sponsors on board and only have to charge $20-30 a player.

I think I was told it was like $129-139 a night or something. Probably best to call, plus the early you do, the less you pay.
You can have a room with 2 twins and a fold out couch, or a double bed and fold out couch.

So 3-4 people a room, which $30-40 a night per person. Not like you will be spending much time in the rooms anyway.
