Youre wrong. Kind of. This is an early test of the game, so they havent implemented all the extra stuff yet. (Combo counters, SUPER METER etc)It will probably be put in at a later date.

rumours are floating around that kof xii is a dream match, and that snkp is using it as a testing ground for building solid 2d fighters. basically they're pouring all their resources into it, so it also will only have 20 sprites, instead of the usual massive number, with 60% of the characters not being used. *cough*CHANG*cough*

basically their excuse to use the same sprites for the next 15 years.
