That vid makes it look a bit too much like SF4 for my liking. Admittedly, I think thats primarily because Ice clone looks like it discourages a lot of pressure. Sub Zero with the zoning of doom.

He's the hero NZism deserves.
But not the one it needs right now.
So we'll hunt him.
Because he can take it.
Because he's not our Hero.
He's a Niuean Guardian.
A watchful poster.

The initial point is that there is more to the game than some people might think, including zoning.

Some chars have more tools to get around ice clone (teleports etc).

I dunno about that, from most of the reading I've done he's down in shitlist territory. Normal sub seems better in almost every way, and there are other chars that are probably better than sub too.

But we'll see... I am actually pretty tempted to play Cyber Sub after using him in Story. I like dive kicks.

Watched this last night. MK9 on a competitive level is so fun to watch. Clutch combos, spacing and zoning (ala noob), frame traps (if you could call it that or maybe fishing for counter hits). Reminds me of SF4 which is probably why I'm enjoying it alot.

Tell me about it bro. His Cage was beast and he always got the follow up after his x-ray. I tried that last night and it takes a while to get used to the timing.

My favourite part is at 9:05 kung lao does the meanest clutch combo to win. The 1st hit of it was an air to air dive kick and it was as if he pulled that off on the fly.

Even better than that:
