Been playing against XBAWKs hat guy's Iron Tager, Noel, Rachael, etc in the evening...

Thanks to him, I can see all the abusable stuff they can do... But then it's not so abusable after the 2nd match...  In fact, it turns into a liability...

I know it looks like suicide, but there is method behind the madness.

Too bad my combo and crossover execution is lacking. Give me a month of casual play and I can probably dominate once my tactics become flawless (or I hope it does)... Though I'ld still get killed by you guys I reckon...

The funniest thing today was, after a knowdown, I was just running into his Noel. He did Noel's super when he got up and I jumped over. So as he was shooting at nothing, I was standing behind him like an idiot...  Then I did one hit and he quickly mashed the burst. After being hit by his burst, I got up and did his favourite signature move... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... and killed him with A...

I think some of us talked to Andy on Sunday while we were at Yifans, Hiro told him to put it on 3/5 rounds. Considering SFIV already is on 3/5, I dunno why BB isn't, so hopefully he does that.. still gotta ask him about english language though.

That's because they're making money off me on 2 rounds... 

I spent $30 in one day last week. THe other guys like, try and stop me from challenging XBAWKs hat guy 100000000000000000 times... 

Now I limit myself to $10 a day, then I go use my free games of Tekken 6 and DDR Supernova 2 at Timezone for the rest of the day... 

I'm trying to get more players to play it, but it looks like this game will end up like #Reload and The Rumble Fish where only XBAWKs is playing with himself all day.

Yeah, I'm really worried that's going to happen because BB is goddamn awesome. Not many people want to play it though..

To best honest. I find it more scrubtastic than GGAC... And GGAC is more scrubtastic than GG #RELOAD... (Slash is too much of a trash game to be compared to the other Guilty Gears) You can easily use someone like Ragna or Noel and spam sh!T like there's no tomorrow... XBAWKs hat guy tried that with Hakuman and lost horribly...   And I can't say that I've seen him use Hakuman ever again... 

I was told to try use Ragna or some character along those lines to match him, but that's not how I roll...

In the end, BB is not balanced enough to be popular with the casual gamers due to the gap between certain characters, if not, all... And on another note, if you see XBAWKs hat guy playing a certain game, there is definately something wrong with the balancing in that game... (XX, SS Tenka, Rumblefish anyone?)

On a different note, what happened to that guy who actually KNOWs how to play Noel and doesn't just jump around spamming aimless hoping to get a stray hit for some ez combos?

He took up rachel. And i havent seen him in a while.

Im looking into rachel myself. I just hate her stupid cat/umbrella.

I like Rachel, because when XBAWK does the cat cannon thing, I just press D with Taokaka and start a combo...  Plus her heavy air attack thing is really easy to instant block for some reason (unlike everything else I've experimented on instant blocking and getting raped in the process)... 

XBAWKs was using Bang today. Pretty interesting chracter in match vids. Questionable when watching XBAWKs use him... Just like all his other characters, it's jump around aimlessly and hoping that spamming air attacks with huge hitboxes will get you the free combo.

Are there invulnerability frames after teching out? Because some of those air attacks he spams seem to beat out virtually anything after he techs out. It's like the Melty Blood teching system... 

The game system is still sketchy to me... Maybe I should read the game system write up again...

You're invulnerable if you do neutral tech (don't move the joystick), but if you tech forward or backward you're vulnerable and can be hit out of it before you recover. So tech rolling out of a corner can be risky, gotta choose your moment correctly. I'm keen to get back to Yifans, wish I lived closer to town.

I know what you mean. Im just lucky i work in town, otherwise i pretty much wouldnt get to yifans at all.

Thanks. Your info really helped today... Managed to escape pretty well from some of his tech traps. I've got his Iron Tager nailed. Now I just have to familiarise myself with what he tries to pull off when jumping and waiting around with Noel, Bang and Ragna. His Rachel and Hakuman are pretty EZ...

Having a full superbar pays...  Taokaka's Wolverine super blocked, he comes in for the combo, buffer in Taokaka's supoer grab... LOL... Pretty scrubby and dumb tactics on my part...

Gotta warn you though, if your opponent is crouching, her pounce super will not hit. It doesn't matter where they are on the screen, it'll just whiff on crouchers.

JESUS CHRIST!!! Thanks for the heads up... I did not know that...  It's a good thing that XBAWKs hat guy spends more time in the air than on the ground...

I keep on eating Iron Tager's spin super...  The last hit being an overhead is trippy...

Yeah, the last hit does a ton of guardbar damage too, so it's best to stand up and Barrier Guard (Faultless Defense) it. The followup he can do is hella unsafe on block too, so that's something to remember. I don't know if xbawks dude knows about the followup though.
