The reason i said in a couple of MONTHS is that 3 weeks is barely enough time to get it sorted. At least for me, our rosters are done 3 weeks in advance. But i will look into it.

We are trying to arange a big tourny with prizes this time (Not some crappy casual matches).

Therefore, It's gonna disappoint some of u guys but we cannot have all the games in the tourny. So I reckon ONLY SF4 OR MVC2 coz they have the most players vote for them.

we can chip in $5-$10/player and top 3 players will get 50%, 30%, 20% of the money. Or something like that. what do u guys think ??

Realistically I dont want to be paying $10 to have my ass handed to me at SF4.

Ill pay it to have my ass handed to me at MVC2 though. Given that the margin of ass-handing wont be as large.

you are right Bill. Some people wouldn't pay for that price. Most of us wanna join for fun and have some friendly matches. Paying $10 just to get your ass kicked is not cool. Overall, Simon has the most chance to win the game.

To make it fair for everyone, I think we should vote for the players who has high chances of winning the tourny, and those players will need to chip in a bit more than average players. But then again, it only work for us since we know each other, doesn't work for outsiders (people from other places that we haven't played/met yet)

Well, I will let you guys decide how we r gonna run this tourny.

Yea, whenever you throw money into the picture it complicates things. When i think abour it, $5 is a pretty fair entry fee IMO. And again, WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT, its worth it to chip in the $5 to promote competition.

Sorry to say one thing in my last post and then say another in this one, but like i say, money makes it more complicated. (More FUN, but more complicated ) Like you say, we'll see what everyone thinks, and we can work something out when we have a few more opinions.

Can i ask how much u guys spend every week in arcades etc?
seriously i work and spend tiem with my gf, i don't play alot of games 1-2 games a day.... and in a week i would spend up to $30 dollars? or more.

this is a one time thing which includes experience and fun gameplay. You will enjoy it, meet new people from NZism and remember you won't just have one game!!!

Also we can organize casual games for those who doesn't make it through to finals, because this is a time to learn while having fun so spend it well!!
