Well it's not news to anybody really...but fuck Sagat is a power house man!!!

I was just down at Yifans and watching Budafist tear it up with Sagat...meat and potatoe combos take a shit load off! 14 wins later...he's smoking everybody left right and centre....geez....

For Capcom to admit that the balancing is swayed to Sagat is also sumthing....

Fuck you Sagat and your tiger shots....rebalance anyone?

Its lame eh? El Fuerte works his ass off to get Sagat down to 50%, and then 3 hits later (J.hk, c.mk, TIGER UPPERCUT) the match is even again. >_>

You need to abuse his height. It means a LOT of crossups work against him that wouldnt against other characters.

The ONLY issue I have with Sagat is the fact that he just does too much damage for someone with a ridiculous zoning game. His reversal options aren't exactly the best, so once you score a knock down, if you can keep the pressure on, you should be alright. If he does end up getting nerfed in SF4:Dash, the only change I would expect is a slight damage reduction.

Sagat isn't too bad a match up if you're around footsie range or up close. She's lucky enough to have a nice bag of tricks to outpoke him.

And crappy damage output vs his vitality means you have to hit him 3 times as much....

And you can't get hit.

Its not the best imo. Youre just comparing it to Ken's, which blows ass.

Yeah Bison, Chun, Vega all have a better focus than Sagats.

It probably is the best when you take into account his vitality, damage output after a successful focus and the fact its the fastest in the game.

Yeah, good depends on the situation. You can't really say Chun and Vega's are better cause they're all for different situations.

actually the reason his focus seems so good is because he is tall and the focus is short therefore it comes out quicker.

I think Ryu's and Akuma's are pretty good. I like how Akuma's moves his body back so can avoid hits. Personally I don't like Sagat's saving, it feels awkward and stubby to me.

Fei Long's is also insanely good.

Sakura's is one of the best ones IMO too, she crouches down really low, so it goes under most mid/high attacks, and it has ridiculous range as well... you just need to get used to it lol

Sagats got the fastest FA but i wouldn't say the best, you know who i thinks got the best, that under cover bitch cammy bro, it's got range vertically and horizontal and it's real deceptive.
