GGPO is an amazing emulator of fighting games that has online play built in - so you can play SF2, King of Fighters or even Windjammers with your buddies! The netplay is basically the best you can find anywhere.

My pick of the awesome games to play:

Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Samurai Shodown 5 Special
King of Fighters 2002

There's also Street Fighter 3: 3rd strike, but unfortunately it's going to be removed once SF3:3so is released for the PS3 and 360.

If you want to play Street Fighter 2 Turbo (aka Hyper Fighting), play Hyper Street Fighter 2 and only play Turbo chars, on speed 1. This is, in my opinion, the best way to play HF online.

I'm keen to play stuff most evenings and weekends, just jump on IRC and ping me to organise matches.

A bunch of us generally hang around in IRC (the original chat room on the internet!), usually there are a couple of people talking or matchmaking for GGPO or whatnot.

If you are IRC savvy, join us on EFnet #NZism

If you need a bit more help, try:

1. Go to http://chat.efnet.org
2. Change your nickname
3. In the "Channel" dropdown box, select "Other"
4. Type in "#NZism"
5. Click Join
6. Commence talking

You can alternatively use MIRC or mibbit or all kinds of other clients if you prefer.
