You all know the rules, standard shit except

To choose the stage: Hold start on whatever character's stage you want for at least 5 seconds before you pick your character.
Come at 12, format is dbl elim best 2 of 3 matches. We'll decide how long the finals will be depending on time and shit.

After Sunday I just realised that Alpha 3 has a much more sophisticated and a lot less Gay looking oricom system.

also while you may be correct with the more sophisticated bit, doesn't mean it's a better game...

Nah bro. Don't fall for it a. Cmon Andy SF4 is where it's at. However if you are looking to go for "this older shit" I have heard that a select few are turning their sights to Alpha 3. If I were you I would concentrate my efforts in that particular entry into the series. Some would say the best entry.

Well there is
quite a few people willing to jam on alpha2. Alpha 3 maybe a great game in the series but really are you going to try and get a scene going for that one (which has a high learning curve like marvel) or do you want to ease people into the alpha series.

honestly I've played both A2 and A3 and I would have to say both of them has its pros and cons. btw I got GGPO and the roms :) but how the heck do we play online? I see under the game tab, second option is to join this kelitien or some sort? can't remeber the word...
