Here's my first attempt at promo vid for Nationals in August:
All the footage was captured cam styles from random matchups I was having, so all the frame rates and resolutions are all over the place.
Had fun doing it.
Wish I had a capture card etc. Maybe next time if we get footage of the tourney.
Might alpha channel the tourney poster for the next cut. And zoom in on the footage, give things a general tidy up ;)
The song clip is from The Mars Volta: 01 Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus That band you either love or loath.

How did you wanna get em to me? Megaupload? Torrent? Or you can just send me a disc. I could also just grab all your footage at the tourney. Gotta a baby due in a 3 days so it might be a bit of a wait (Augustish)
Thanks for the comments guys. This is the Street Fighter related video I've done since my NatColl course in the 90's.
If I had to choose frame rates between the footage I had for this one I would have gone with the lower frame rate thoughout. Mainly cos' that one smooth clip of Rose vs Sim seems out of place. And kinda slows the pacing down a tad.
We could make a kiwi combo vid if we had time. Burn it off and give it to punters at Grind sessions/tourneys.

I love to do something like that. Sadly I suck at combos. That's why a Bread and Butter combo vid would be more up my alley. I'd need combo ninjas to send me footage. I've got a song by Mountains Of Murray called Stamos, which I think would be great.

Could you Do your combos in VS mode on an interesting background (anything but training). If you can have someone on player two so it looks like it was done mid match that would be awesome.

Should I be worried? Can put the RvB Logo in there not to much of a hassle. Uploading to Youtube is a pain. Can I delete the older versions yet?
I'm pretty sure how you have it will be fine. Andy can confirm though.
Don't worry about the RvB/GIGA sponsorship stuff, we've cleared everything and it should all be ok.
leave teh vid as it is, it is fine. I have cleared it out with RvB and Giga, an if anyone has been to Giga will know what I mean. They are not a competitor to RvB, either way Giga and Capcom logo must stay as it is in the promo vids, cheers.
