Lol I was gonna post this. But then CBF. I'm glad someone did it though.

that would be awesome playing people on psn and 360 from one console
Nah the PSN guys would lag too much.
i sold my 360 recently thinking i wasnt going to play much anymore.. but i really want to play yang so im deciding whether i should get the 360 version (in which case id have to pick up another 360 fml) or the pc version. do you guys think thered be enough competition on the pc version?
also i noticed on 360 theres less lag than on my pc using the same monitor. and i mean input lag. anyone know whats up with that?
How good's your PC at running it?
dont think its the pc struggling to run it :(
Back in Vinilla PC, I didn't notice any lag using my Asus VW24H monitor and my PC was pretty crap... the only thing that pissed me off was my graphics being lame since it was all medium to low or else I won't be running 60 FPS... nothing else apart from that.
But I do liek my xbox better than my PC since xbox never have graphic lagging or FPS problems. I think the only thing that PC surpass xbox is playing online, PC seems to have a better connection.
yeah i noticed the connection was much better on the pc too. i might just pick up the pc version, hopefully there should be plenty of competition? is anyone else going to get the pc version too?
Depends how cheap it is lol.
only 30USD from direct 2 drive if you order now from D2D lol. works out to be 37NZD or so. gogo!

Will it work on Steam do you think? And actually I don't think I have much need for it, if I have it on xbox. Online is kaka, regardless. I'll hold off for a bit anyway and see how much interest there is.
tbh i cant see me buying this twice and will definately get the 360 version as thats what we play at tourneys etc
naw itll be separate from steam :(
Games for Windows Live prob
PC version of vanilla was really good so I'm sure I will end up spending the most time on the PC version of AE too.
ill most likely get the PC version too and see how t goes, an extra $40-$50 is not going to drill a hole in my wallet lol.
I'm guessing the PC version can accept the USB PS3 sticks? If so I might get it for Mac. It'll help me practice playing with a stick on my lap which seems to be an essential skill for anyone taking this game seriously.
I don't think it's necessary, just that it's easier to setup initially. I was always playing on a desk, but then I got too lazy to clear the desk lol and sometimes we wouldn't have very good desk access. I also found I can piano better with it on my lap though. When Daigo was first travelling around I'm pretty sure he never played on his lap until near the release of SSF4 iirc.

You'll need to be running Windows - it's not a cross platform game - it will require Direct X to run, just like original SF4
I will most likely pick up the PC version. Hopefully enough of you guys pick it up so I can get some games online in with it.

Lol I was gonna point this out too. He could just have one of those dual operating system computers where you can run Mac and Windows. Though I dunno why anyone would bother when you could just have Windows.

The interesting thing about the PS3 TE sticks is windows users say they only work with certain chipsets.
I confirmed this running windows on a Mac that didn't have the correct chipset. Although booting into OSX
the stick DID work.. I checked it with Mame too. Its almost like you can just plug things into a mac with
OSX and it will work. Hehehe.
On a serious note, it must mean the PS3 TE thing can be solved with drivers. Someone on the windows side should
sort that shit out.

Yeah he's weird like that.
Thanks for the heads up Eru, I guess Xbox will be the better option.

My man! I have nothing against Macs and have used them extensively I just prefer PCs. Mac users are such snobs about something that is essentially quite similar :P.

BROFIST. I too have used them a lot, because we're required to use them at uni for anything digi media/video related. I don't like the operating system, and I just have a pet hate for the hardware.
Also seeing all the macs lined up in a row at cafes along with the abundance of A&F and Country Road bags makes me want to burn the place down.
I definitely agree that the worst thing about Macs are Mac users :/ - not all of us are hipster dick fags though :D
Yeah macs and games don't go together, making them automatically suck. Plus I just don't like OSX at all. But I know you guys are all into your art and making stuff which I know macs are good for in that aspect.

Total hype probably created by Apple to sell more Macs. This is what I don't understand, Adobe programs work EXACTLY the same on both platforms so how is one better for design than the other? In fact on PC you have MORE options of available programs you can use ??? Now that Macs run an Intel chipset the only thing seperating them from PCs is the operating system and the lack of ability to easily upgrade a Mac.
Offtopic as :P

Are you talking about Windows vs OSX, or "PC's" versus Mac Hardware. (An apple computer is technically a PC too but hey..)
Quote from: originaljulz on May 17, 2011, 12:01:14 PMI don't like the operating system
What's wrong with Darwin/Unix? :P
By the way, using them at work/school is totally different to owning one. I used one at school for years and didn't like it
cause we had windows at home for 6 years and i was used to it. Then i owned one and wasn't afraid to break it, plus i had
access to
do what i want with it. That's when i actually learnt the OS. Until you own one and can make it your bitch and man-handle it all
day long and it will still make your fucking eggs, your relationship is similar to that with a prostitute. Sure, you may get down to
business with it, but it aint your lady.
OSX isn't just good for creative stuff, being built on Unix opens up the computer geek side a lot too.
@Graeme ~ Mac earned the reputation (at least) in the music world because it was always more stable. Granted, that's because
the different hardware configurations was very limited so problem solving was easy compared to windows, but results mattered.
Also apple is a hardware company so they could control how the OS interacted with the hardware a lot better. Just like Avid
and (ex) Digidesign who are the leading companies in Film editing and music creation.
Also, creatives wanted to just get on and use the stuff, in the early days windows was not as user friendly so those inclined that
way drifted to Mac and have become loyal.
p.s what the hell is this topic about? LOL
I learn to use the stick on my lap also after SSF4 came out... it was too hard with those desk at Giga... now I am quite comfortable with playing it on the lap but of course if there is a good desk with teh right height then I'll use that.
Holy shit this got so derailed. But BAM

Yer the ps3 TE is shit bro. It does only work with certain chipset. I could never get it too work either with the drivers and shit.
Fucking dissapointed as cos i wanted to play GGPO. And your absolutely right, Windows shoulda sorted that sort of shit out a good couple of years ago......Or is it sony's fault? Fuck they're both cunts.
Whoa a lot of PC vs Mac stuff. Here.
I'm on the Mac side. I've never really liked PCs. PCs in general seem unintuitive to me. Actually my dislike for Microsoft products seems to be one of the main reasons I'm put off buying an Xbox.

Suddenly Julz' hate seems really justified....
I think he just said it because he has this thing against me for some reason. I think it's because I said Skullgirls looked like shit.
But yeah Microsoft products make me wanna smash the screen.
