That guy does some really decent stuff. I really need to get myself a power mac and a copy of FCP.
You want after effects for that stuff bro.
I've recently ditched FCP for premiere cause it works so well with after effects.

Really? I had just assumed a similar plugin would be available for Motion. I have fuck all experience with Motion and After Effects TBH. Either way, I still need a computer that doesnt suck.
And after ACTUALLY watching the video, I realise this shit isnt gonna work in motion.
I don't think it's possible for me to post in a thread and NOT derail it from the topic. My bad.
But yeah, Andrew Kramer is the man (and cracks me up to) and has a billion free AE tutorials.
That's an awesome tutorial. I wanna try it out.
should we use this thread to post videos and animations that we make as well?
I've been trying to make some animations lately. this is an older one tho. and if it doesn't belong in here I will just delete it.
I did this this animation about a week ago but I have just added a proper background and some sound. I wanted to have some proper voice acting but I don't have a decent microphone and there is constant noise outside my window so I don't think I'll be able to record. I think it would make it a lot better tho. So I just added Dragon Quest sounds. Which is where i got the idea for the animation from, after playing DQ9 too much lately.
When I was making this I ended up with way too many layers. there's at least 2 or 3 for each part of her body even tho it doesn't like that much is going on. ended up with over 50 layers I think and it got really confusing with all the parenting. Also pretty much just rushed the enemy eyeball character and put some budget puppet tool animation on it.
there's a 480p option that makes it a little crisper:
here is a link to the vimeo version which looks a lot sharper:
