Title: Photoshop Cs5
Post by: CrazyMobius on June 30, 2010, 06:27:03 PM
Hi just a general query can anyone recommend a place that would sell good deals on PS CS5? New and not trade me? Mighty Ape seems ok but sometimes there might be some really good places out there.

Thanks.

oh dude, photoshop is horrendously expensive regardless.

not that i encourage it but have you considered more dubious ways of 'acquiring' it?

You can always buy an older version on Ebay & then just pay for the upgrade.
I know a couple of people who have done this to save quite a bit.

do you think you'll use the new features in CS5 enough to warrant the purchase?
I've always managed to get by on older versions fine. depends what you use it for I guess.
Its not a cheap program by any means.

I want Illustrator and InDesign CS5 more than Photoshop. Like Budafist said you can quite often get by on older versions of Photoshop. I only upgrade Photoshop because I usually install the Design pack and it comes with it.

Do they sell Cs4 for cheaper usually? I'd prefer not to buy from trademe. Someone offered to give me Cs4 for free but I'm kinda superstitious.
