I read every page of every thread about a PC version.

Just that you play it on your computer instead of on a console lol.

Vanilla PC version was the best imo, perfect speed and best amount of overall players with good connections.
The real bonus is being able to multi task on your computer while playing, and interact with people with keyboard and mouse to chat instead of controller fail.

I like xbox vanilla over pc, you don't have to worry about other idiots having shitty pcs and not knowing how to set the frame rate properly and all that jazz. The consoles are just a more stable platform basically.

Na Euan at all the timezones they use a hacked version of the PC SF4. So PC SSF4 could very well make the TZ arcades.

and if so they could just put a ssf4 game in a 360 now ....

Yeah I heard about this a wee while ago and was hella stoked.

I'll definitely be getting it. Thought it would be awesome to have a version we could all just plug our sticks into and run my laptop through a nice big monitor. Oh the USB irony :(

Be prepared to have to shell out for the arcade edition dlc as well either at launch or a wee bit later. I think that's how they'll combat piracy this time.

Still the pirates will find a way, they always do. But it'll probably be much tricker this time.

Nup TZs SF4 machine is a pc not xbox

Its pretty lol though.  It feels way better to play than the god awful yiffans machines.  Went in today and managed to not get any techs on that laggy shit setup.

Give it time. IF a PC version gets released at/after this stage, it will probably be the full arcade version. Wait til that shit drops at the arcade/dlc for consoles is released, THEN unleash the ball of rage.

I know Ono is saying no But I wouldn't completely rule it out. It would be a pretty easy port for them.

Wasn't it the case that pirates could only play offline anyway? That's not exactly the main point of the game these days.

For online, if they didn't use GfWL's retarded key system it's probably have been a bit less pirated, from what I understand almost any key can be used for almost any game (that's how the online key-selling sites work - selling keys for cheap/budget games for use with AAA titles). This could be completely false though, just something I heard.

I realise that GfWL probably gives some niceties for the devs (since it's similar to the XBL matchmaking), but for example I'm pretty sure if they'd used SteamWorks then at least the online-key thing would be a non-issue. You can still pirate the games for offline, but big whoop.

Again, I think it's a silly reason to not release it. If sales has been shit as well, then fine.
