Anyone that I know who is a challenge for me lives in auckland... its gets kinda boring beating the crap outta your local friends and being called cheap out of frustration (not really my problem they cant find a simple solution for one. simple. problem.)... And Hardest just isn't that hard.
Now, living in the sticks I dont have xbox live, but I know that surely there are others in the hamilton area that over analyses games like this (a friend just informed me this site exist = Happy me)
so yeah? anyone keen?

Theres a small scene at the local Hamilton Timezone, Thursdays is usually good, though it's just regular SF4.
I'm in Hamilton but I don't really have any time untill my studies finish so I will get back to you then.
GGs yesterday at timezone gino. first time playing arcade sf4 still fun just being in that arcade scene. i should have played more but it was my first time playing animal kaiser and i was hooked. be good when i move up so we can have some casuals at my place or something.
Yeah, I lol'd a lot when they talked to me afterwards. They were pisssssed. Hahahahaha.

No the machine like every other one like it is rigged. They make like a 1 in 100 or 1 in 1000 counter that the last one lets you win if you get it. Pretty stink. I've probably spent over $100 (less than half of it, free credit) with still no prizes...
will be here on tuesday keen for some games with anyone, and also animal kaiser FTW.
btw gino informs me there's a vanilla sf4 tourney on tomorrow 1pm, I might make it (with the sole purpose of getting credit for animal kaiser, lol)
hey fluxcore are there any places like giga net cafe in hamilton. where you can take your own gears down and play street fighter. Also how did the sf4 tourny go.
There are plenty of net cafes around, I have never been into any of them though so have no idea if any would support a console gaming presence. Would be cool for someone to find a place like that though.
Basically my position is that I'm very happy to help out with anything in Hamilton, but I'm not really interested in starting anything up myself. I don't really have the time.
As for the tournament... hahahaha. Let's just say it was an unusual format and I didn't stick around too long.
Hey Flux moving to hamilton at the end of the month and wondering what you think the best ISP to go with is, was thinking Telstra.
Shit I wish I could tell you tbh... all I can say is if you're in hillcrest/ham east area, pick something other than slingshot or xnet and tell me if they are good lol
But yeah, slingshot imo was terrible, and xnet is barely passable. I've heard good things about telstra, but I'm not sure how location dependent it is.
We'll have to sort out some gatherings or something. Would be really great to finally get some regular stuff happening in hamilton! There are a fair few ppl that play at TZ, and a couple even have some talent :)

yeah keen as was gonna go to uni but just gonna get a job now so will have spare time. Yeah its a pity TZ setup have a broken LK on one side and a worn out stick on the other.

I'll start looking next week after I finish wintec. Theres really only 3 net cafes in Hamilton and none of them have 360s.
How many do we really need though? We have two xboxes, a tv and two 22inch monitors and i have a shit ton of arcade sticks so that should be all right yes?

GG's today gino,i should have gotten into blazblue more it's actually quite fun but with MvC3 on the horizon i don't think i'll even bother. Also when MvC3 drops i'm gonna be holding some casual meet ups at my place for MvC3 just writing here to see if there are players interested Gino is keen, Stu? Flux? anybody else from hamiltoin? gonna create a thread when we have our first one. Also am eventually hoping to hold some ssf4 meetups in the future to coincide with MvC3 am already working on a second setup. Hope everything works out.
When BB:CS2 comes out I'll be a bit keener. Not sure about MvC3 at this stage, at the very least I'm not going to want to play it vs for a week or two after release.

Hey supercombo i'm gonna create a new thread probably 1-2 weeks after xbox mvc3 release to post the details of the meet ups and stuff so keep a look out on this site, also you could pm me your cell number so i can text you when its on. I don't know how long it's gonna take for ssf4 to happen so it's just gonna be mvc3 for a while but i am working on that second set up. cheers.
