Only 1year old & just when warranty has expired, my ps3 is starting to show signs of problems-screen freeze, have to hold on/off switch to reboot console. Errors are sent to psn. -blackouts during gameplay(ssf4) during gaming the monitor becomes black for 3 sec's then returns to the game after losing life, i checkd replay and replay was ok but during the game, the screen blacked out(possible guile hp+hk down up black screen reset frm sf2 perhaps?). Its not my 32" panasonic , its the third time now its happend. Ive seen it happen at ranbats to a xbox360 becoming pitch black as well. Light on my console stil yellow..anyone else experienced same errors?

If you bought it brand new then use the CGA. I've already posted the clauses you need to refer to in a thread for weazzy.
My friend has a panasonic screen which blacks out when playing COD all the time, turns out it was his third party HDMI/Component cable.
Could be the HDMI but the fact that he has a yellow light on his console doesn't look good for it not being YLOD :'(

My bad. I was looking at power light that flashes yellow at bottom lol fooled you's!! But it does freeze up tho. Hopefully a warning only of whats to come a year from now. Ive got my console standing up and vacummed the dust from vents. Saw a guy on trademe who repairs ylod on that same day. Will try post his details later for the boys. He claims it can take up to 4 hours but his prices are fair.

Jakk bro. I did all the research my self and fell very proud of it too :P Nobody here gave a shit cos i was first to hav problem and ask for help. I feel these guys pain so i always save the links to helpp my bradaz. Now i spend my time helping others like a super HERO!!!

Yep fixed ps3 problem . Purchased a Xbox elite.. Will try keep both running on seperate screens in respect for alot of the psn sf players. But xbox is cranking!
