Title: BlazBlue 1.03
Post by: silver_spoon on May 12, 2011, 11:55:26 PM
Well now its out, and none of 1.02 combo worked on 1.03. (At least for my Ragna and Hazama). I'm going back to Rachel and is learning Platinum now. What do you guys think of 1.03 anyway?

I'm just wondering, anyone currently really active in BB now? I'd love to add all the active Blazblue XBOX live players now, since I'm currently really active at it :3

I'm only on the Playstation Notwork. I haven't played in ages because I was waiting on this patch. Though, I also haven't played MvC3 (which is meant to be the one I'm focusing on atm) since early March because I'm too busy with uni and work.

If you get a Playstation I'll be more than happy to play lol.

Well all I've done so far is go through the new challenge combos with Hakumen, and I dunno, I guess I don't feel the changes to him are quite what I'd like... but really I need to actually play a bit to find out. I'm sure my secondary of Makoto will be fine though lol :)

It's not like there's anything else worth playing, so I guess I'll put some more time into this now.

Well you answered something I haven't even had a chance to ask which was whether or not there are new challenges for each character. My poor Bang :(

For a 790 MB patch, the changes are quite big, and I'm pretty sure the challenges are changed (I haven't checked lol, will check when I get home).

I don't know, with all these changes, I feel it's kinda fun in a way, starting fresh. (I can never beat flux's Hakumen, so maybe now with the ridiculous changes, I stand a chance) -  ::)

Just kidding- I'm terrible at this game. Before I was just scrubbing it out with Ragna, now that I'm playing harder characters, I think I'm gonna suck even more.

EDIT:

Okay, strangely enough the challenge for my Hazama is 50% complete (after 2 months of not touching the game, I don't actually recall if its the same or not.)

But his B > C > 3C > 214 DC > C stops working in 1.03, so I've no idea how it works with this new challenge yet.

The % you had before this patch will be carry over so u dont have to recomplete all the challenge.
However you should do challenge mode again anyway cause they completely redone challenge mode for this new patch, and from what i seen and done they are actually really good combo to get started with since they are pretty viable... baring those that have retarded starting like 2c with makoto >.>
But you can always edit your combo to suit yourself :P

Edit: forgot to add, Challenge 9 for Tager is hilariously broken where the computer cant even complete it XD... however the combo is doable in actual match, just challenge mode screw up Tager 2D to not magnetise for some reason

I just watched Tager #9.

Hahahahahaha  :D :D :D :D

It was funnier than I thought. Especially the fact that the computer just keeps the input going as if nothing is wrong.
