Also, I picked up a couple of them fold out study desk at the local high school. The best thing I have ever carried home. They are nice and comfortable to sit on and play with the joystick being at the right height with a little slant to make it that extra comfortable. Also the stick does not slip at all making it super good for Marvel.
I will take photos of it tomorrow so you guys understand what I'm talking about :D

The new plan is to get a stick probably around January or whenever I can get my $1000 "Course Related Costs" for my student loan next year (cause this year's one did not go towards the xbox/guitar hero world tour bundle :P). That comment you made Len, I think it made me realise what I like about GGPO, it's not so laggy compared to playing fighters on PSN. It just works. At least if I get my ass kicked, I know it was to a better player, and not bullshit lag. Again, I aint no pro at SF4, but I still know my place, when I should have won/loss.
But yeah, this is the shizzle. We should totally do the online comp.

weird, ive had different xbox peripherals on the pc running xp and they all work fine once you have the xbox controller drivers.

Ok, finally got GGPO up and running with a bit of help from Alan -- thanks dude!
Turns out VMWare is a bag of dicks and likes to run in NAT mode instead of bridged by default... switched to bridged, changed the IP address of the ports I'd opened and away it goes!
So far I only have ST and Alpha 2 roms... PS3 fight stick works great too!
Yay, more and more people seem to be "FINALLY" getting their act together and jumping on board ;)
EDIT: I want to play but im over a mates place so will have to wait till I return home. Sorry guys :-\

My ST skills are so scrubby... I've only ever played it against the CPU via Mame... was definitely an experience trying to take the footsies I've learned from watching videos and SF4 and taking them back to ST Guile... scrubbed out a couple of wins which I was happy about :)

You have pretty decent Guile basics probably just cut down on the flash kicks. Chuck more booms too.
Man a2 was pretty lol. The stick im using is pretty retarded. I was getting random cc activates from my mp and joy2key lag is shit. I would probably stick with Charlie or one of the shoto's as they are pretty basic and easy to learn.

Super turbo is one of the best and most balanced fighting games ever made
you should give it a go and youll see its so much better and very rare that you get a lucky win on that when you win its cos you out played someone(most of the time any way)

SF4 online is honestly so shit man. The netcode for ggpo is soooo much better and is one of the reasons we are playing on ggpo instead of 4. Besides arent you bored of it yet?

Damn TBH, I am a bit aye, thats why I balance it out with T6. Onlines all right with me, i always get 4 bars anyways so the lag is not THAT bad, T6 onlines pretty good too, for me anyways.
