Title: Street Fighter series 'best games' list
Post by: fluxcore on October 11, 2009, 10:48:41 AM
Maj at sonichurricane.com just posted an interesting article on the various games in the broader Street Fighter series, and which ones are competitively viable and why. Quite a good read for the people who are newer to the scene.

in terms of emulation.

For SF3, A2, A3, HF, and ST use FBA.  Check out GGPO in particular.

The rest can be emulated quite comfortably with Demul 0.54

HFF, MVC2, and ST HD Remix are all on xbox live and PSN

Yes, I have a CPS3 emulator at home that plays Warzard, SF3 and Jo Jo's.

Mame OSX runs Third Strike fine... Haven't checked to see if Warzard is supported though

I like SFII: Hyper Fighting the most out of every SF game so far.

Which Street Fighter was Doctrine Dark in? I only remember playing 2 SFs from my childhood, and I think that's SF2, and whatever one D. Dark is in.
