Awesome post on SRK regarding the option select throw. Basically, dont mash it, because it wont work properly.

i wonder why i always get thrown, too much mash.  the timing on my option select throw is the same timing i use on rogs c.lp i dnt mash it that hard but my timing must be way off.

Xpunch I will say this

Ben's boxer trained himself never to option select throw (shoto's rip it to bits with SRK option selects or mash)
And boxers crouching lp is mashable... and will help with TICK THROWS, but when they are real close.. maybe just hold back and regular throw (Crouching techs I find can be problematic)
