I did see talk of an arcade release. I reckon they will put out the home version, then we'll see an arcade version when it gets the first balance patch. They'll let us all test it at home and find the broken shit then patch it all out for a balanced arcade release.
Kinda like AE, they might chuck in an extra character or two and we will get MvC3 v2.0.1 haha.

I have seen absolutely no mention from capcom or anyone who knows anything about capcom about an arcade release, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
There is no knowledge that is not power

CrazyMobius

I don't even think an arcade release would be necessary.

I don't anyone who would get there hopes up for a game to get released where they have to travel and per per game. I think it would be the other way round.

What if I work in town and like to go to yifans every lunch time? Nah. I guess NOONE here has THAT as a reason to get excited.

Nah fuck the arcade scene sucks aye. I bet that's why the majority of the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch players who are actually active in their respective communities choose to stay home and play online. See you after work Bill, jk I'm going home to play on PSN

I would be keen as for MvC3 in arcade. I grew up with the vs series in the arcade learning all the shit myself or by watching others. Everything's way different now of course though.

Think I found my first char... She-Hulk!!

[NIUE] BIRRY WONG

Crumples and decent damage. She looks interesting.

Run-stop as well. Now just need some partners. Would you recommend any Birry Wong?

[NIUE] BIRRY WONG

I dont think her run stop is going to be quite the same as fuerte's. TBH I dont know enough about how she plays to REALLY speculate on assists. But im happy to take a blind guess.

Being a grappler though, i would guess that any kind of lockdown assists (doom/chun) probably aren't going to be useful since they put the opponent into block stun, meaning grabs etc wouldn't work.

It looks like her high/low game is ok, despite her low speed. I would say that a low hitting assist (X23, Wesker, felicia) that you can use to set up unblockables might be useful to help capitalise on her damage output. Or a decent AA, since shes probably going to get rushed down like its going out of fashion.

All guesswork here though.

Personally, I'd have thought a lock down assist would be good - yes, the block stun would stop grabs from connecting, but that just opens up other avenues for damage. A locked down opponent, just needs to hold up back in order to jump as soon as they're out of block stun (thus, avoiding the grab) but then She-Hulk can hit confirm off a low to catch the opponent in pre-jump frames right after the block stun from the assist wears off into big damage - I'd have thought this would be a great way to get niggas to start blocking (and therefore, making themselves grabbable)

Feel free to discredit anything I say because I obviously have no clue about Marvel

Lennysaurus

Yeah absolutely.  You want them locked down so you can smash them up.  Don't  listen to Bill, hes a scrub.
