Did you wait for the PAL \ Europe release of SF4?
I think if you bought early and got the USA version there is problem with DLC and save recognition.

Differently zoned games are classified as completely different game to the PS3. Desipte the fact they may be indentical games.
For example my Japanese version of FFXIII has a save game ID of BCAS-25001, yet when I insert English copy of FFXIII I am unable to load that game. This is because the PS3 only looks for the save ID's which match the current disk when looking for files to load, and with the PAL English version it has the completely different save game ID of BLES-00783.

I bought Europe's PAL BLES-00770 version of SuperSFIV and have had no problem with DLC or unlocking the SFIV save content.

iMagneto

ah really? brad brought the same one as me...~ hes getting his costumes no problem...

Skullator

Hmm that's strange, altho if Brad had a US copy of vanilla SFIV while you had a Pal copy it could make sence I spose. (Switching from PAL to US causes the problem, but going from US to US would be OK)

I can't think of any other reason for it to fail, especially when you consider it is not detecting the save game file... Which means you can pretty much forget it being a network\PSN error.

I'm pretty sure Brad traded for NZ ver

Change pink to SNES and blue to Megadrive and I'll reinlist after going AWOL from the console wars of 1993.
