I'm giving the game another go I just think I have to make sure I'm playing the right people and characters online in order to preserve sanity. This thread looks like a good idea to me.

So anyways

Crazymobius: Any character especially Blanka would be nice despite how irritating the match-up and character is to play online

Electric: Abel and whatever else you play

Hydro: Just keen for some games. Hopefully the connection will be better this time

geneterror: I'll hit you up next time I see you on psn for some boxer experience.

I'm keen to play your Boxer as well Ben - I feel like that's one of the match ups I've almost nailed, but have never really played often enough to be truly comfortable in. I also play a gimmick based Viper, so if you need a bit of practice blocking flame kick spam, I'll give her a few runs as well.

As for me...
Zangief - does anyone on PSN play him ? I know Geneterror dabbled with him a bit, but I'm not really familiar with any "specialist" Giefs... Anyone keen to lend a hand ?
Chun Li - Skull, zosla, Pjai I'm looking at you guys for help here
Ken - Uhh... help ? Anyone playing Ken much these days ? King Piccolo ?
Dhalsim - CrazyMobius, KAOS NZ... I need help keeping patient lol

That's suits me. Sometimes the connection is a bit iffy and I guess we can play it by ear. I'll usually be on between 6-7 and sometimes between 8:30-9:30pm. Also all day Friday. Will send a PM.

I dropped Zangief for Super. I'll be a bit rusty but I can give you some challenges vs Zangief if you're keen.

I added you to my list with new username. I can give you a few matches with Sim. I actually think Abel is quite a hard match up for Sim. If you don't panic or get impatient Abels got it made.

Yeah, it's one of those match ups that Abel wins, but I lose haha - I think Abel got some good hitbox tweaks to deal with Dhalsims pokes in Super, but I haven't had a chance to try them out... Hopefully I can keep my composure and play more solidly

If you've got a mic I can give you some tips that way. I won't be playing Dhalsim for the tourney so I'm giving all my tricks away for free lol.

Edit: I think there are two other decent Sim's out there. Kaos who plays a mean 'close game' Sim and Lenny who may or may not be practicing up on Sim.

I need to play against:

Zangief - Seeing as you're the only Gief here I'm looking at you Geneterror  I have no idea what to do against this guy with Rufus. I'm either:
     Too scared to jump and dive kick because of Lariat.
     Too scared to use link combos cause if I fail I eat an SPD.
     Or too scared to poke with cr.hp when Gief has EX stored.
Sucks cause I even lose to the scrubbiest Gief online 

C. Viper - Just not very familiar with her. I started picking up a few things about her when playing against Cr8zykill3r but want more experience against her lol Cr8zykill3r or Hydrokinesis.

El Fuerte - Not familiar with him at all. I don't think I've played him online ever so looking at the PSN Mentor thread either illbill087 or karizzma please
