Thought we needed a thread like this so we can recommend movies to each other because we all hate online reviewers. Or we could just troll until we end up with another money match.

The men who stare at goats

Had heard absolutely nothing about this movie before watching it. Thought it was pretty funny, its kinda over the top silly in some places but Clooney does a good job in selling it. The films about the US army training 'psychic warriors', people who blow shit up with their mind or at least they think they can. Viewing time is around the 130 minute mark. Out on DVD

Snacks: Trident rice crackers with that Philadelphia sour cream and chilli sauce
Viewing partner: Anyone immature enough to laugh at the childish jokes

Knight and Day

Wow, I actually liked this film. Its an action movie starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Has you hooked from the start, Cruise goes all mission impossible in this one, and it works! Action scenes are done pretty well, Cruise is a beast! If there was a Tom Cruise fighting game with all the characters he's played in it, this Cruise would easily be top tier along side with Last Samurai Cruise. Diaz, yeah she does ok I still think she looks kinda weird, dunno must be me. Viewing time is a round 130 minute mark. Out at the movies

Snacks: I got a jumbo popcorn for this one and a large Fanta. Was sufficient
Viewing partner: This is a chick flick/action movie, so take your girlfriend or other women of interest (but not both)

Dunno if George Clooney could ever make me laugh, he just looks dry. I like Seth Rogan sort of Humour, Jar and Silent Bob and Chris Rock sort of humour. So in other word the word 'fuck' makes me piss myself laughing.

Knight and Day was actually pretty enjoyable. I think because i was expecting a terrible movie, and it was only partially terrible. Dont go expecting anything decent. Its a 6.5/10 at best, but youll be pleasantly surprised if you go in expecting a 2/10 like i was.
