Maj at sonichurricane.com just posted an interesting article on the various games in the broader Street Fighter series, and which ones are competitively viable and why. Quite a good read for the people who are newer to the scene.

Lennysaurus

in terms of emulation.

For SF3, A2, A3, HF, and ST use FBA.  Check out GGPO in particular.

The rest can be emulated quite comfortably with Demul 0.54

HFF, MVC2, and ST HD Remix are all on xbox live and PSN

Which Street Fighter was Doctrine Dark in? I only remember playing 2 SFs from my childhood, and I think that's SF2, and whatever one D. Dark is in.
