I've thought about making one of those, but I don't really want to buy a big lcd screen.

It would certainly be better than my stand up cab, I really don't like standups anymore (take up too much room and hard to find bar stools of the right height that aren't horrible or expensive). If I did it all over again now I'd definitely make a vewlix-style cab.

I don't think I could fit all my equipment in the box though...
