Updated last night, PS3 update had no problems. I just like the fact that character selection in graded matches is double blind

This is shit.

You can't make your own private tournament  .  All this is is a updated ranked mode with blind select. 

The replays so far are pretty shit.  They load super quick and have a awesome slow mode (plus you can skip the introduction animations) but the matches them self are not very awe inspiring.    They must record the input codes of each player and then upload them to the server, then when you go to watch it you just end up downloading the inputs and then the game uses those inputs collected to replay the match.  Really good considering its not a "video" of some sort that would use up shite loads of bandwidth.

The video system is pretty worthless. You can watch a match but you can't bookmark it or save it. So what's the point?

At least the Xbox version you can save replays slow it down etc.

Also the PS3 icon thing is annoying and stupid. entries 10 each for each match max I reckon. People are just mashing buttons while watching replays. And the sound is fuckin' annoying.

The tourney modes fun though. I was on 1:30 in the morning with 3 other guys with a decent connection. Elimination_ would always peace me out in the semis :/

I have to admit, the tournie mode is pretty fun.  Nice to see real results on your win, too bad you can't choose which match goes to the Server.  My 2nd match was crazy intenese against Ziggy Oz, but the one that was uploaded made me look like a poo bum

I can understand them rebalancing the console exclusive characters, i would almost go so far as to say thats 'fine' But they should NOT be touching any of the physics to do with the arcade roster. Making the console version different to the arcade version is stupid. I dont want to see it become like MVC2 PS2 version.

Random connection question: Where can i see how strong my own connection is? Theres a big blank space in the matchup screen next to my name (where, on the opponents area, the connection is showed) I don't even have the flashing aerial icon that seems to indicate a bad connection.

Or is the connection bar just an indicator of general connectivity between the two players?

Now that im on Gold i actually CAN. I was on silver before. I was trying to invite people myself the other day, but it was greyed out and i couldnt. So after about 20 really REALLY scrubby matches against randoms with low connectivity, i ragequit.
