No you don't man. Don't even worry about it just enter the tournament. Lots are doing it and Ninja Sock who's running the tournament says it's fine. I don't own SF4 and I'm entering. Maybe if you really wanna be sure but I think it's fine. And yeah you can use your own sticks (hopefully someone's kind enough to let me borrow their TE lol).

While the rules are ridiculously anal and everything, I wouldn't worry too much. If they are going to cancel an entire tournament on the day because one person on a team doesn't have the disc, then really that's on them. I'm sure us console brothers are friendly enough to 'sort something out' yeah?

Proof of ownership, what a gyp. This is just another situation where it's an application of PC rules to something which doesn't really make that much sense. Hell, we could probably have one full setup for each tournament game running the whole time ourselves.

I remember aaaages ago back in the day some asian guy got pissed of for some reason and was going of.  The bouncer told him to fuck off, so the asian guy threw a stool at him.  The stool just bounced off him like it was nothing... the asian guy and the bouncer stand there looking at each other for a few seconds...

Then the asian guy bolts for the door like a starving ethiopian running to a cheeseburger.  I laughed my arse off at that.

They havent anounced the prizes.  Nah the winner wont be going overseas as the game isnt a WCG qualifier.
