imho ffxiii doesn't look appealing to me.  I'm sick of seeing emo's and Titus lookalikes.  Is it possible to bring something that doesn't involve a bunch of fucking jpop idols running around bitching and carrying on?  What was the last jrpg that you guys actually think "Fuck, that was worth the 80hrs+!"?

On the other hand, Uncharted 2 looks really sweet especially since the first one was good.

I dunno, but why would they change the formula for a game that is selling well over anything of the games that you play. They're obviously making much money from this formula. Sorta like some bitches complaining about how fireballs are cheap so they take them out of SF. THEN WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!? WE'D ALL DIEEEEEEEE

Actually nowdays all teh RPG games are not what they are like the old days where they focused on gameplay/style and storyline etc... all those important factor that makes an RPG game successful EVEN without the harcore graphics.

Nowdays they just try so hard in making the game look good, but with shitty storyline, gameplay system etc etc. My favourites is like FF7, FF3 Jap(FF6 english)
BOF 3, crono cross FF tactics and many others!!

oh man, i saw the trailer for ff versus xiii and holy crap, its trying way too hard to be cool. it looked like advent children on steriods.

and chrono trigger is badass. my favourite bof game is 4 and i really wish i oculd get ahold of the first two suikoden games again.

also, dragon quest isnt all that bad if old school rpgs are your thing.

Thats right, so now I don't waste my time with jrpg now days.  The days of good Final Fantasys, Grandia, Chrono, Breath of Fire, Skies of Arcadia, Tales of ___ and so on have gone

Some of the Western rpgs have been really good.  So I play me some of them now

EDIT: Except for Too Human.  That game should be buried like E.T

I have both Suikudens 1 and 2 on PS1 , It can be easily downloaded as an ISO if you look hard enough, I've been playing BOF4 recently but haven't spent much time on it though dragon quest was not really my thing but I have tried DQ8 and it was alright, very typical jap rpg but storyline got me bored of it...gameplay was ok.
