I like the colour scheme atm. Its simple and easy to read. Id like to see a flashier banner, but thats pretty minor for the time being.

Let me rephrase my statement.

If you want to go to the effort to make a mock-up in photoshop of the entire theme template, then be my guest. If I don't think it sucks, I'll code it up and we can use it.

Good luck using that fern logo though. If you know anything about web design you'll know what I'm talking about.

Usability was and is my #1 concern for a theme, simplicity the #2. Also good luck not using white and black.

Not even having the choice for other users possible? Cant you upload pre made templates to the site and enable a pull down menu? I know thats possible for free fourms hosting etc

It's not that he cant do that, it's wondering if it's worth his time to do so.  And also he asked if you have a design you like and Alan doesn't think it sucks then he would put it up.  So find the template you think might be good and flick a link to him.
