MVC3 Pre-release thread

Man its a great time to be a fighting game fan atm... so many great games for us to play either out, or coming out.

Everyone should know that this is going to have a hard time topping mvc2, but saying that I'm just happy to see capcom and marvel working together again.

I guess there was enough support in purchasing mvc2 on XBL and PSN that maybe contrubited to Capcom doing something about it

I also think that it might have something to do with how EA basically abused the liscence the whole time they had it by releasing sub par games as well.  Marvel tends to give alot of fan service, and are dissapointed when the marvel licence is carried by a shit product.  (e.g: doing the marvel movies in house after licencing them out and having people rape the stories)

seriously, capcom has made the best marvel games.

hope they go back to the themed stages of the first vs games. spidey had an awesome level in the first mvc

the xmen side scrolling beat em up arcade game as a bonus game that is playable online!!!

I'd love to see that. Developers just need to keep the hit boxes 2D and have the characters always face either left or right. It might end up looking goofy but at least the gameplay would be intact. I reckon as a bonus mode would be rad, but I doubt it'll happen.

Flux, SF4 left a bad taste in your mouth. Maybe MvC3 would end up being the mouth wash?

fuck yeah...this is probably the best thing ive heard gaming wise since i heard they were finally making sf4......YAY

i just hope they keep the button layout the same as mvc2.....best style of layout for a game like that imo
