really hope the tvc control scheme turns out to be dirty lies. and how could they make IM's extremis armour look stink, its the coolest armour he has.

I'm just not much of a fan of how a button can work as both a punch and a kick depending on the direction of it. Unless it'll be like SC/DOA or something where there is horizontal attack, vertical attack, kick, or punch, kick which would make me lol even more.

8 Buttons would be cool, but it wouldn't be fair for all the arcade sticks in the world with only 6 buttons

fluxcore

tvc controls are fine, not that this is going to be tvc controls.

As long as there's a button for block and button for run. I'll be happy

Quote
-- Cpt. America: "This founding member of the avengers returns with his indestructible shield to deliver combatants to justice. He preserves most of his handy move-set, complete with deadly shield-a-rang tosses and evasive cartwheel maneuvers."

-- Felicia: "Capcom's catgirl returns with her claws out to deliver quick and nimble combos to anyone distracted by her jiggle physics for too long. She is also able to summon a helpful little catgirl partner to double her threat."

-- Deadpool: "Deadpool has the ability to teleport around the battlefield, but do it too many times and his device will backfire to hilarious results. Even breaking the fourth wall, Deadpool's special consists of beating down opponents with his own life bar."

-- Dante: "He may be based on the young Devil May Cry 3 protagonist, but this Dante comes equipped with the best moves from the entire series. He can juggle rival fighters with his dual pistols, close distances by sliding on his knees while playing Nevan (his guitar weapon), and even activate his deadly Devil Trigger mode to increase his speed and power."

Having not played TvC i cant really say how good or bad those controls are

but how does someone complain about the difficulty of mvc2 controls
so I am a bit worried where they are going with this

it just sucks that money is the main driving force behind everything

[NIUE] Optimus DAVE

to go from mvc2 controls to tvc controls is a big downgrade imo, mvc2 controls are the best for that type of game.....8 buttons just doesnt work in my brain....keep it the same

the controls were the reason i never took tvc properly.....i hope they're not being real with these tvc control rumours

Guess noone remembers when mvc2 came out huh? Those controls were fairly fucked for the day. No-one was saying 'wow these controls are PERFECT' back then. Maybe the new controls will be perfect for mvc3?

The controls for MVC2 were a big reason why I didn't really pick it up. I think Marvel Super Heroes has the best control system out of all the marvel games.

stereomonkey

So how would you use that control style to call out assist?

samurai black

you clap your hands and do a rain dance

massi4h

Well if they wanted they could implement 6 attack buttons and have the assists as both middle and both heavy, then use drill claws to switch (or the other way round)

stereomonkey

Yeah, that could work but it means having three buttons to dash like xmen is bolo. Just makes it even more annoying to do fast fly and dash imo

Tell to you the truth. I'm not too fond of the assist idea either.
