I don't know if it's been mentioned. but you can cancel the charged mirage feint with S.
It actually gives you frame advantage.
You can cancel H cancel into hop, cancel the hop with S and do another standing H much like viper in ssf4.

edit: I managed to do 6 standing H's in the corner with this.

also I can grab crouching characters with her command throw.

edit2: since her standing H actually moves her forward, this can be done anywhere on the screen.
Think I might have found Mvc3's daipan loop.

I am really struggling with the button layout at the mo

it seems so strange coming from mvc2, I tried

L S A2

But i kept trying to launch with H and activating x factor is weird

so ive gone with b type

S A1 A2

now im struggling to use the H button at all except when mashing assist which it isnt

How are the rest of you guys finding it?

Exactly the same as you. Go with B Type. On paper, the MVC2 esque layout should be better, but really, youre better off just learning the new control scheme. Only trouble is assist 1 is in an awful spot.

yes b type is the way to go . the ,vc2 layout see,s wrong in this game , works nicely with the 3 attacks along the top

You kinda expect Justin Wong to be a lot more hype for this new game instead of only having negative things to say about it. Even in SF4 Justin Wong was always saying that you can play any character and do well, and even played Makoto in tournaments to prove it.

my point is more that mvc2 had heaps of broken shit through its 10 years of tenure and it was all figured out and replaced with other broken shit. calling it now is pretty retarded.
