Just did a massive MASSIVE write up, which the work computer just deleted when i tried to post it.

Basically, look at this page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution

Look at the Standard Deviation and Confidence intervals section.

Look at the second table.

For the purposes of this equation, = 0.6

(Needs to be 0.6 because we need to find 20% on either side of the area that this calculates. 0.2 x 2 = 0.4 and 1 - 0.4 = 0.6)

To work out N, the equation we need to use is:

sqrt2(0.6/erf) = N

BUT to work out erf (error function) we need to use

erf = 0.6/(N/sqrt2)

If we substitute in the value for N that we know (because we cheated and didnt use the formula) then we're sweet to work out erf. (works out to 0.5951), but we still have the problem of working out what N is in terms of a formula. And i never did error functions (erf) at school, and i cbf figuring that shit out now, especially given that the error function equation looks like this

Thats what i got to in a nutshell. A big fucking circle. And now im tired, ive been up since 5am, and im going home. Good luck dude.

Are you taking the piss?

[NIUE] BIRRY WONG

What? Nah. I enjoy maths. But i was on an early shift yesterday, so i was REALLY fucking tired, so there was no way i was going to try and figure out error functions, especially given that i have never looked at them before anyway. And i think i started going a little deep for what redtie was looking for anyway. Overthinking shit, and then getting myself stuck in a massive loop. I always seem to take the most complicated loop to get anywhere. And i always end up fucking up somewhere in my working because i tend to write shit long hand just because its quicker than using a calculator.

And look at that fucking equation!!

Fuck that shit on 2 hours sleep.

Whollt sheet. Sooo...what's the dezal function medium?

If we look at Dezal as D, then its as follows.

Diesels come in a 6 pack normally correct? Well, since its saturday, you go for the weekend special and get 2 extra. (6+2=8)

Each can has a volume of about 350ml. We can represent this with this equation (can = 350ml)

Short hand, before the integration of the weazal into the dezal function medium, the equation looks like this.

8=8(can=350ml)=D

When we write the equation out long hand, it looks like this

8=can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml+can=350ml=D

By then factoring the weazal into the equation, we negate the volume of the can as it gets rapidly consumed.

Assuming the weazal follows the aluminium recycling curve, we can also negate the can itself from the equation. As we have negated both these values, there is no longer any need for additions, or, in lamens terms, the "+" symbol. We retain the =, to show spacial relations between the cans and the weazal after consumption.

So the final equation for the Dezal function medium is this:

8==========D

Other than the Diezals being 320ml, that answer is exactly correct.

Hahahahahahahaahahahaahahahhahaahahaahahahahahahahahahahah :D :D :D :D

edit:Daym, i tried to post that on my facebook but it's too long.
