The news NZ Street Fighter fans have been waiting for: OH APAC - Auckland.

With the launch of Super Street Fighter 4 and the announcement of EVO APAC the guys at ACL are giving NZ a chance to get in on the action.
Coming to Auckland this May, SSF4 fans will get the chance to battle it out for their chance to go to Sydney, Australia and compete with the best players in the Asia-Pacific region!

Prizes:
1st Place Paid flight to EVO APAC with a spot in the finals bracket
2nd & 3rd Places TBA

Tournament:
Super Street Fighter 4 - Rules TBA

When:
Saturday May 8th, 12pm - 6pm
Warmup: 12pm - 1pm
Tournament Start: 1pm onwards

Too short notice for me sadly.

If I knew it was going to be this soon I would have tried to find away to send one of our locals up. Run a tourney and winner gets a plane ticket to Auckland. But with the how close EVO APAC is, it would have been too mad a rush anyways I suppose.

This isn't the NZism nationals though right? Hopefully I can find a way to make it to nationals at least if it's much later in the year.

I've just PM'd for the registration details and am hoping to extend some leave and get up to Aux.
This will be my first comp of this sort so I'm pretty excited to get this kind of experience and meet some of you in person.
