How the fuck is it corporate? You normally have to PAY for DLC. With preorder that shit is free.

Corporate because they want incentives to only buy from their stores. It's a marketing thing, they aren't giving you this 'dlc you'd usually pay for' for free because they LIKE you.

Most games I know of don't, such as gears of war and mass effect.  There are others that haad exclusive bonus content when preordering games, I think Assassins creed 2 had some too when you got the Enzio figurine ltd edition.
