Candy flavours don't come from fruit, they come from sugar, sugar, more sugar and a shit load of chemicals lol.
Actually I don't even know why I'm defending candy. I prefer my unhealthy snacks greasy and salty, not sugary sweet.

I used to work in the produce section at a supermarket. It's actually the same shit that most vege stores get. It all just depends on lazy workers doing proper rotation, and turn over etc.
