heh my first encounter with Nu (Normal difficulty) had me boxed in the corner sending out frogs "go get her George"
If I did anything else I got raped by swords.

After some time in the training room though I see what you mean about her ground game - she has the ability to get in real fast and potentially do huge damage (when I learn some bigger combo's), but she is definitely a zoner though.

Jin's freezing is hard to deal with but he is a bit easier than Nu.

Jin's freezing is more just cause you don't have much experience man, once you l2 tech ect you'll be beasting Jins in no time

Yeah i'm a complete newb & there are a number of techniques which I haven't even tried yet and i'm still reading about new ones
I'm just posting my experience so far - admittedly only against the AI, but Nu & Jin are scary  and it sounds like Jin is the most popular online.

Luckily there is a ton of good info on dustloop

AND FUCK ME PS3 CONTROLLER IS CRAP. No matter, I'll keep at it.

The bonus disc is quite nice!, it's just annoying to watch it.. (forget long combo string) and be playing.

I'm going to come *cough* spectate and meet those of you who are going to xLan.

Just spent, I dunno. From 9 a.m. until now playing BlazBlue. Done 90% of Taokaka's story arc. Tried Ragna's but I can't play him for SHIT. He's so slow and I know nothing about him. Anyway, I've been experimenting with some Taokaka combos, I also tried the ones the bonus disc exampled. One of them is a total waste of heat gauge but awesome to see.

This PS3 controllers wearing my thumb down though, inputs hard with it as well.
Need to borrow a stick or something, haha. Oh yeah, the replay thing is wicked. Downloaded a few of the top ranking Taokaka players. It's sooo much better than going to YouTube or Niconico, all top players are Japanese for me. Would seem they've put New Zealand in Japan's region for online play...
