Welcome! It's fucking hard to get Tekken players to come to this site, TZ just is good enough for them I guess. I really would like to see more Tekkenites come here, since it has the biggest scene in NZ... beggars can't be choosers though. I wouldn't ever say Tekken players are closed minded, however you must admit a very large number of them (the 'mainstream' players) don't really play any 2d games... there's nothing wrong with that, 3d is the new 'thing', it's just a little sad, since I think 2d fighters have a more... interesting... play style.

Keep up the SamSho Tenka, I will be up to Auckland sometime to play it! I've always thought the SamSho series was underrated and underplayed, so I'm trying to get as many people to play as possible

I'm not that great as I have a really short fuse when it comes to fighting games and I tend to go for the rushdown style offense, which isn't really suited in SS. I use Yumeji, Sogetsu and Sugoroku all on VI style.

If you want to see SBO level set-ups in SS, look for a guy called Zenki. He is bloody nuts when it comes to SS. His characters are Rera and Suija. Occasionally he'll use Mina and Amakusa for bullying purposes.

Got it off Zenki, but I can probably lend it to you on DVD...

I think there was a site somewhere where you could download the entire lot of SBO match vids, but I've lost the link. Easiest way to get it now is probably youtube or google...
