I tend to use my own fucked up version of the Eagle grip, it's good for about 5 minutes but then I get weird indentations on my fingers lol

I think it's the way I used to use it, thumb, index and middle finger?

I rest the side of my palm quite heavily on the side of my hand, with the tips of my thumb and fore finger on the ball, and the shaft coming up through my middle finger and my other finger (the finger to the right of your middle finger if you face your left palm toward you).

I tend to just flick my wrist and my thumb and forefinger for all my movement.
