cc does pretty shit damage imo for all that work

Yup, saving grace is that it only used about 25% Revenge meter.
I'm guessing maybe smaller combos into resets/knockdown pressure might be the way to go, or ultra 2...

Ive got to say. Ryu's new ultra almost makes him not the most boring character in the game anymore.

None yet. SFIV was one of 2009's top 5 pirated PC games tho according to sankakucomplex, so yea it's iffy lol.

Custom combos are usually more about skill and fun than damage anyways.

Er, sorry. I guess you're right, but they are CERTAINLY about damage also.
You wouldn't do PTF, or SHOSHOSHO if it did small damage, no sick GJ combo's for small damage.
