Diablo and Kings Quest aren't RPGs, and Baldurs Gate was actually pretty ass
Any sufficiently godlike street fighter technique is indistinguishable from randomness

Awww, I thought Diablo could be considered an rpg.  King Quest just needed a mention, that is all :P

Out of the shadows (ZX spectrum)
Pools of Radiance (c64)
Bloodwyche (Amiga)

Now they were quality :)
Tell me something, Billy. How come a cute little guy like this can turn into a thousand ugly monsters?

samurai black

i can time travel too, but maybe not that far.

Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap

first and best game i ever played the sega master system 2... maybe its not quite RPG-ish, but i love it.

CrazyMobius

I don't have the time (or the attention span) for RPGs anymore. But I only really got into the Shining series.

Shining force I, II and III

Shining in the Holy Arc.

Played Zelda on SNES too though. That's amazing.

I don't like RPGs, but Chrono Trigger has to be one of the best games ever. Gauntlet Legends on N64 I find quite fun. Still got my level 99.

Final Fantasy series
Suikoden series
Fallout 3
Elder Scrolls series
Vagrant story

I really enjoyed Chrono Trigger and FFVI on SNES.
Also the 2 Suikoden games from the PSONE.

Man i used to love that Gaunlet Legends game, my favourite was the Bull (warrior) , and Anubis was bad, lvl 99 gets you that halo aye, and you get a pet dragon that follows you around.
Bison: [to Guile] Something wrong, Colonel? You come here prepared to fight a madman, and instead you found a god?

Can't forget the Bards Tale or Wizardry series.
Bane of the cosmic forge was awesome.

And of course Nethack, Zangband & other roguelikes that I still play today :)

Such a lack of RPGs on the PS3 has been heartbreaking  :'(
