Unblockables.

With one word, my interest is instantly much greater.

The thing with the whole "unblockable" candid talk, it can't be anything spetacular if its built into the game on purpose.  If its tacked in just to appeased the "hardcore" MVC2 fans then I think its the wrong way to get these guys into the game.  BTW, I didn't really pay too much attention while watching the interview so my comment may just sound silly.

that gameplay vid was pretty sweet. I didnt know your recoverable life stays intact after tagging in which is cool. Its a shame the voice actors from mvc2 aren't in mvc3 but meh no biggie.

I wonder if they'll add Gene(godhand). He'd make a funny rival for Deadpool lol.

I haven't watched it yet, I can't at work. I'm hoping that by unblockables they mean guard breaks brcause they have some logic behind them, if it is guard breaks then that is awesome!

It was in the context of attacking from two directions at once (with an assist and side switching/teleport mix ups) so i'm pretty sure he genuinely meant unblockables in the sense that you can't block in more than one direction

Yeah, Seth has previously said there are no guard breaks in MvC3 - basically the engine doesn't allow for that situation. Not sure if he meant left/right or high/low unblockables though - probably the latter?

Yeah actually flux, you're probably right - as you should just be able to block the on point character if it were a case of side switching

Marvel Vs Capcom producer Niitsuma posted on his Twitter today disconfirming a lot of the characters that could have been on the MVC 3 roster.

- He thanks everyone for their tweets regarding character suggestions
- No Darkstalkers
- No Monster Hunter
- No Sengoku BASARA
- No Breath of Fire
- No Gill (Street Fighter), but Niitsuma likes him
- Mega Man fans have to wait a little longer

Also Nittsuma talks a little about the Darkstalker character roster.

Darkstalkers series - It is important to consider worldwide appeal. Although I did want to include more characters from this series, the development schedule did not permit this. Jon Talbain would have been my pick.

Does this mean some of the Megaman Universe will be in MVC 3? Who do you Think will be in MVC 3 from the Megaman universe?
