From what I gather, If you take good care of your PS3 it doesn't YLOD.
I think having the PS3 sit on carpet and gathering dust is a big cause of it.. Just like the first PC I ever bought which sat on the carpet.. first time I ever opened it up I got a big shock how much crap was in there lol.

I have a older firmware on mine which doesn't allow me to play wave 4 games.  So that is why I'm still sweet.

Thinking of getting me one of those modded xboxes that you can load games from a external hard drive.

Yea that streams not bad. Although i switched to cicada's after i watched dudley vs makoto, and the dudley player mashed uppercut and won.
