IMO you can go either way on the supers (apart from vs duds/hugo where you need the storm), but the snake actually forces you to learn/use him rather than just building meter and sitting back.

Started to get the rape on Toby's ibuki after a SLOW start. He schooled me for a bit but once I started parrying the crossup mk and b+strong'ing everything it started to go in my favor.
