What I learned about BlazBlue today:

Tager does a lot of damage
Tager has a lot of life

Ragna does a lot of damage
Ragna does not have a lot of life

I presume XBAWKs hat guy is now using Noel properly since I saw him with a piece of paper ~ 2 weeks ago practicing... What a tier whore... 

Speculation on console exclusive characters being Sol Badguy and Ky...

wow... XBAWKs has learnt how to properly use Iron Tager. Impressive. I can't tell if the combos were guaranteed or if I just suck at mashing, but I'm pretty sure I was mashing through the whole combo . I pretty much got owned up.

His Hakumen s@rks though, it's like #R Testament all over again... except crapper...  He didn't last long against the same sh!T I've been spamming since I was doing since I started playing... Hakumen seems like a really technical character that is built around knowing your opponents movements and cutting them off. Not like what XBAWKs does where he just jumps around aimlessly spaming jump and sweep moves...

Yeeup, that sounds about right. He murdered my new Ragna with his Tager but his Hakumen is lacking. The combos you're thinking of probably involve Tager's moves that give you a reaaaaaaaaally long recovery time, so don't bother mashing too hard. If you're lucky though you can get out of the last bit of a combo where he swings down at you while you're on the ground (relies on him mistiming it, but he does it sometimes).

Tager is odd. Might just be me, but sometimes i can roll out of stuff and other times i cant, despite it being the same stuff. (might not be, im probably just shit)

Sounds like diablo is better than me now By a significant margin.

I just do the same BS all day. And I do the EZ combos... 

You guys pull off crazier sh!T than what I can comprehend. The only thing that lets me beat XBAWKs is that his playstyle is the same no matter what game he plays... So I know what he aims for. (But we all do know he aims to be a f@ggot... )

Too bad for him it didn't work in Tekken 5:DR, he only played me once, and has never touched that game again... 

on a side note he sure loves to eat Taokaka's super leaping throw... He'ld probably eat it 2/3 rounds...  I LMAO when it actually caught him from a whole screen away...

Starting to get the hang of Carl. I have problems combo'ing off the doll/puppet command grab...    And his command dash is not as godly as I thought...

Carl is much harder to use than arakune. But fuck he looks fun. I wouldnt mind giving him a whirl. But any time i try something new, xbawks hat guy or that asshole white guy (not you HCO btw) comes and spoils it. Thats why i cant use Bang at all.

Bang looks hardcore. There is a Bang player on the latest batch of JOYBOX youtube match vids owning up everyone. Especially with that Bang Super Crash or whatchamacallit...

White guy as in the Jin Kisragi player? Is he still doing the same stuff?

Carl is pretty hilarious if you can get them in between you and Nirvana, if they don't know how to get out the pressure never ends. The problem is getting them there :|

That Joybox Bang player is sick too, the best I've seen yet. Does a really cool 3-mark combo and has some really amazing crossups/combos during Furinkaazan (the super saiyan mode) too

I'm gonna stick to learning Ragna for a while, gonna try and get some quality time in on Friday to learn the Blood Kain setups so I can pull out some ridiculous bullshit

I wonder how much buffering is needed when playing Carl... I bet it's difficult to pull off like Eddie's unblockable setups...

Does anyone know the Yifan's Managers, or know how the Xbawks dude got in touch with them? I've been talking to baod (a dude who owns a Blazblue board in the US) and he says that the International version of Blazblue can be switched from Japanese to English. So we'd actually be able to read what our characters are saying, which would be okay by me.

Basically I want to ask the manager what version we have, and if he can change the language.
