Really? So called hot Blondes and Street Fighter do not mix in my opinion.

[NIUE] BIRRY WONG

<Smoof>
He's the hero NZism deserves.
But not the one it needs right now.
So we'll hunt him.
Because he can take it.
Because he's not our Hero.
He's a Niuean Guardian.
A watchful poster.
BIRRY WONG.

Nathen...

1 on 1 is not good for this game, some characters have really bad matchups

so u think we should do 2 on 2 ???

[8-----D] Toots

Scenes too small for 2 on 2 tourneys even though I kinda agree that it would be the best setup. If your a gief player and you come up against blanka or sagat well...ggpo

While 2on2 *would* be pretty awesome (imo especially random pairs, get to know new ppl and stuff), we don't have anywhere near enough people to really do it - and it would draw fewer semi-casual people than a 1on1 I would think... but hey, maybe next time?

Bags 2on2 with sexy ladies that are there!!

Damnit... I shaved my awesome mustache off earlier this week... maybe I should grow it back for the tourney...

EDIT: Yay!!! I'm not a junior member anymore!

imo, 2 on 2 is more attractive and fair, this year's tougeki in Japan is 2on2

Exactly.
We do not enough people for 2v2, yet it would be ideal.
next time, see how we do this time, if i get enough votes and people we could have another in later this year.

??? WTF

like who versus who? i don't want to start an arguement but you must be joking right?

I only know of one 3:7 match up and that's, ahem, Viper Vs honda. And even that isn't that hard. Besides, your character's 'bad' or Hard match-ups are the ones you should be the most prepared for, then they kinda become a counter counter match-up.

Trust me, that's how it's gone with my Viper vs Boxer/Blanka and Honda, play those matches enough and you'll catch someone out who really doesn't know how to play those characters but picks them anyway just to 'counter' you. then you, being prepared for their counter play, have your own counter-counter play against them.

I tend to agree, on the whole this game has far fewer lopsided matchups than other SFs, although admittedly I pretty much gave up Sakura due to the Blanka matchup (amongst other things).

My Viper certainly has trouble against Dictator and Honda, and I think that's partly because of her moveset, but mainly because I haven't worked out how to use it against those chars. It's not like I've played enough to anywhere near exhaust the possibilities!
