There's a thread over on SRK and they basically think most of this list is trash, especially because it's early in the game and can't possibly be valid.

I don't think it's outlandishly wrong though... except Sakura v Blanka 5-5 which is just absolute bullshit...

So much of the middle is basically even that it doesn't make much difference.

I think the fact that it is relatively even is probably why there is so much conflict. A good thing IMO.
<Smoof>
He's the hero NZism deserves.
But not the one it needs right now.
So we'll hunt him.
Because he can take it.
Because he's not our Hero.
He's a Niuean Guardian.
A watchful poster.
BIRRY WONG.

Orochi

I'm happy with the Dan placement! although he should be top! OYAJIII!!!

Clearly it was 0-10

Most of my favorite characters are the bottom half, starting from Gouken down.

Low tier for the win!  ;D

I guess I agree that Sagat is 'overpowered' in that I think his damage should be reduced, but he's definitely not a massive amount better than everyone else - certainly beatable.

I groan a bit when I see him picked though, I must admit.
Any sufficiently godlike street fighter technique is indistinguishable from randomness
