Sure doesn't feel like it.

Air throws have always been like that. It was the same in Vanilla. Because they have range longer than conventional hitboxes, but they still have vulernable hitboxes at short range, it means they are able to beat out a lot of stuff. Think of air throws like projectiles but with short range static hitboxes, then their priority makes a lot more sense.

Air throw ranges are different depending on what character youre using. I know Guile's air throw has the longest range, followed I think by Vega's and then Fuertes. This is why these three characters tend to beat out a lot of stuff with their air throws.
<Smoof>
He's the hero NZism deserves.
But not the one it needs right now.
So we'll hunt him.
Because he can take it.
Because he's not our Hero.
He's a Niuean Guardian.
A watchful poster.
